I can’t help but wonder when we make the transition from childhood to adulthood, or at least from youth to maturity. It doesn’t happen suddenly, and I suppose it never happens completely (or it shouldn’t; then, we’d all be really boring as adults). If such is the case, then aren’t we changing now? I definitely don’t see or feel it. Are we destined to be children forever? Childhood and innocence have their benefits, but maturity definitely does as well. What happens to the people who can’t transition? Do they just get owned in life? Something here doesn’t add up…I’ll come back with an answer one day. Just not for a while.
