Going to High School might be very boring but sometimes fun. But how much time do we waste in school? Let me tell you. Lets say your in 9th grade and you wake up at 6:00 just to get everything done and be at school before the bell rings, which does at 8:00. Once school starts, you have your classes to go to and a normal High School lets out at around 3:00 o’clock. Once it finishes it at 3:00, you already spent 9 hours in school! Think about what you can do with that 9 hours on the weekend!

So you go to school 5 times a week which brings us to 45 hours a week. Fourty five hours?? If you worked those hours at a job you would easily have made more then 350$!

There are 40 weeks of school year until the summer starts. If my math is correct then that is 1800 hours! That is 75 straight days in school behind the school fences. Seventy five days is more then 2 months. Imagine staying at your school for 2 months, yeah no thank you.

But that is just the 9th grade, there is the 10th, 11th and the final 12th. Finally when you get out of high school and get your diploma, you survived around 300 days in your school. That is about 1/4 of your high school time actually in high school!
