Alright so you want a job to make some extra money around summer? There are a few things you will need to make this happen.
Things You Need:
- A Work Permit (you can find one of these at your school, or just look it up on because it is different for some stats)
- A calendar, so you can record important dates such as interviews and work schedules.
- A nice shirt and pants for the interview, and working because you don’t want to look like you don’t care.
- Be prepared to answer questions, and know what times you will be able to work.
- Alright now for the job.
- There are many sites that have job searching things for kids all it takes is a simple search.
- Another thing is the classifieds ads in the newspaper they can have jobs from babysitting, dogsitting, to landscape work.
- Ask your friends! Your friends might have an idea for where they want to work and working with a friend could make your job that much more enjoyable.
The Interview
- Know what times you can work, your social security number, and all that other personal info, because you will need it for various forms.
- Be calm and wear something nice, the interviewer will understand your a kid, but try to be mature.
The Job
- Congratulations you got a job.
- Don’t be late and remember to check your schedule so you don’t have any conflicting dates.
- Don’t ask for a raise or complain about anything, because they could easily fill your spot in this job market.
