Keep The Grades and Stay on Top
Ever wondered why YOUR grades slip up?
90% of all school struggles are caused by laziness. 10% are caused by a person’s personal life.
I’ve been conducting a survey all my own. I asked many people around school why they have bad grades, and I came up with a solution to it.
To keep those grades, you need the willpower to step away from drama, and focus on your studies.
I have lost grades many time because of laziness and wandering off track.
An example would be my freshman year. I had an A in global history first semester, and dropped to a D- second semester. I now ask myself:Why? it was simple. I was granted too much Internet access. I began playing games, some more than others. I let drama get the best of me, and everyone has economic hardships.
My sophomore year I managed all A’s and a C, and I can tell myself this: I learned from my mistakes and kept on top of my homework and classes. I locked myself in my room with textbooks for hours at a time, etc.
The way is this:
1. Force yourself to give up going out with friends 24/7.
2. If you have trouble with something, ASK. This can prevent you from losing a good grade.
3. Do your homework. Obviously, you need to if you want to know your material.
4. Confidence and the willpower to keep going even when it gets tough. I retook Geometry in my sophomore year, and aced it.
Hope this helps!
