Life as a Young Adult
Everything is easier when your young. Right? Or is it?
Have you ever thought that life is easier as a young adult? Have you ever said “It’s because you’re young that…”. Do you think that life is just easier when you’re a young adult? Please reconsider. Sure when your young, you can do more things than as an older adult. You’re more flexible when your young than when you’re older, and you don’t have to work all the time usually. But is it really all that easy to be a young adult? As an adult your peers are more mature and don’t generally play mean pranks on you or make fun of your mistakes. If they do it’s not as common as when you’re a young adult in high school.
One could probably say that high school is probably some of the hardest years of someone’s life. Because as a young adult in high school there are peers who create a strong peer pressure that manipulates many young adults to do things that they aren’t ready for or should never do. There are popular people that find devious ways to harass others to make them feel insecure and embarrassed. Also many face the difficulty of discovering their identity as their bodies change and they slowly become adults. As this happens many think that they are alone and no one can understand this.
But what they don’t realize is that everyone has to go through this at some point in their life. So, seriously, is it REALLY easier when you’re young? Can you think before you say that life is easier when you’re young?
