Every now and then we often hear the saying ” once a player, always a player”. What is a player? In this world, there are players for every game in sports but that is not the player I’m trying to define.

In this thing called love there are people who love for love and players who play games of love. A player can be either of both sexes. Whether a female or a male they all play the same game. Players are people who pretend to love you for one or more reasons other than true love. Players are good pretenders. They pretend to love you just so they can get what you have that they want. It can be sex, money, popularity and a lot more. They lie and they can’t be true to the same person. They can have many boyfriends or girlfriends, lovers or mistresses or whatever you may wanna call it. They are the cheating wives/husbands, boyfriends/ girlfriends or lovers. 

Having to be a player is a choice. Your actions are all based on your choices that you make. So when they say, “don’t hate the player, hate the game”, what does it really mean? If i will try and make a meaning out of it. It would mean i shouldn’t be hating on them players but the game they play?. Shouldn’t we put it like don’t hate the game, hate the player?. I mean, it’s not the game that is playing itself, it’s the player!

So is it really true that once you are a player, you will always be a player?. My answer would be false and not true. People are different. Some people have hard time changing for the better. Some people become players and  then changes overtime. And some, just can’t change their ways.
