Don’t

1. Do not be a jerk- calling her names, teasing, making fun, etc. unless she knows you are playing and she is playing with you will turn her away
2. The bad boy image- it is attractive to some extent…no girl wants to tell her parents her boyfriend gets detention everyday, nor do they want their boyfriend spending more time in trouble than with her
3. Flirting with other girls- if you are looking to start dating a girl, do not flirt, even playfully, with other girls.  She may think you are not interested in just her.

Do

1. Compliment her-  not every second but just when shes not doing anything walk up to her, say hello, compliment something about her, and say see you later, then walk away
2. Be kind to her and her friends- a lot of girls do not want a guy who is different around her than around other people
3. Show that you are interested in what she is-  No girl wants a boyfriend who criticizes every decision she makes, make an effort to be interested in what she does and offer suggestions not criticisms.
