Too Many Broken Hearts

Too Many Broken Hearts

About the lack of love in the world today.

Many of us have had our hearts broken. I find that its too many in my opinion, and too often it has happened to me.

Sometimes a person just has to wonder why it happens so many times and why it has to happen at all. Most people know they are good people and likely cannot understand why such an awful thing has to happen to them.

Whatever the cause, the heartlessness of the world, a coworker poorly chosen for a job another deserved, overwhelming bills or circumstances, a family death, or any significant event of sorrow–heartbreak is always hard on a person. For some, it’s even harder than others, especially those who are more emotional than others.

A person will often wish for help to cope with the pain and sorrow and sometimes will find none. There even some so heartless that they basically tell the person to get over it, get help, make fun of the person, or just simply ignore them. When a hug or a gentle reassurance will do, why do we turn our backs on such people. Where has all our love and caring gone?

Many these days ignore other’s problems as they don’t feel like dealing with it or have forgotten that other people are human beings with feelings. It sickens me how low some in the human race have sunk.

My hope is some day that people begin to realize that all people are worthwhile and worthy of receiving love. I would love to see love embrace the world and bring people together. Hopefully someday, love will know no bounds and comfort all with a broken heart.
