Ways to Kill Time When Bored
On or off the internet, there are many ways to kill some time.
- Read a book. Yes, I know. Read a book? That’s pretty boring. But some books can be surprisingly good and hook you in. Personally, my favorites are Twilight, To Kill a Mocking Bird, The lightning thief, and Marley and Me.
- Take a walk. Come on people. In the USA, over 40 PERCENT OF PEOPLE ARE OVERWEIGHT. Can you believe that? You can take a walk with some friends or just grab your ipod and listen to your favorite songs.
- Go on some chat sites. Some chat sites are actually safe, unless you are a total idiot who’s stupid enough to tell people their personal information-where they live and their house number for example. But for the rest of us who are just plain bored, I recommend chatango.com. Usually, it’s just boring if you have no chat site, so I recommend you using the meet people tab when you are registered.
- Anime? Well, I know what you’re thinking. But really, anime’s not that bad, if you find the right ones you like. My all-time favorites are Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, and Code Geass. But remember to watch it english subbed, because I think the english dub sounds un-original.
- Korean dramas. Ahhh, them. I got my ’information’ from the raves of my friends, so I knew which ones to watch and which ones to stay away from. But it’s all about which one, like I said earlier. Here are some of the ones I got hooked on; Goong [Princess Hours], Full House [Not the American one], Coffee Prince, and Boys Before Flowers. They’re all good and I highly recommend them.
- Look around in youtube. It’s amazing how much funny stuff you can find there if you just look correctly.
These are the 6 main things that I do on the internet, and they usually keep me occupied. Hopefully, they help you also.
