For those who love to shop at Hot Topic, they may have noticed that the store has changed it’s look slightly. It went from looking very gothic and black to more abstract and emo. Maybe this change has increased their income by doing this but it’s also causing them to lose old customers. I’m sure that some old customers still go there but I doubt they like the new changes, I know I don’t and I’m very much a goth fan myself as I have been since 2005. Some of the more emo changes are good but others are not. Seriously they need more Tripp® pants for sale, they used to have rows and rows of them but now I only see 2 – 5 different pairs there and they’re usually not the style I like. Now they have these skinny uncomfortable jeans. And has anyone noticed that the skinny jeans that actually look cooler are for those who are XS? That doesn’t seem fair to me. And corsets? They hardly have any corsets anymore either, they pretty much replaced them with tanktops. Not as cool. And the store is too plain. All I see now is wooden walls when they used to be just black. Not cool.

Yeah, I do like all the emo neon colors but they could have left more black and goth too so that they wouldn’t lose customers. It’s a shame. We can’t really do anything about the changes other people make but if we’re lucky they’ll change Hot Topic back to what it used to be more like.
