Cars on Air
The cool racing car Formula one will fly on the air.
The former Formula 1 race-car engineer, has invented a car that uses nothing but compressed air for power. The “Evolution” costs less than 1 cent a kilometre to operate and can reach a speed of up to 130 km/h. The car runs out of power after about 200 kilometres, but it can be plugged in for a few hours to recharge the air tanks. The first batch of air cars will be built and sold in France later on this year. Nineteen other factories around the world will also build the air car in the near future. A compressed air car is an alternative fuel car that uses a motor powered by compressed air. The car can be powered solely by air, or combined (as in a hybrid electric vehicle) or electric plant.
