Classic Chrysler Models for the Petty Car Collector
What if cars can be collected like mere postage stamps? Would you pick every available classic model on planet earth and make it your own? I bet you would.
The Chrysler Godfather Look
This looks similar to a car that Al Pacino used in Godfather II. Looking at this classic 1970’s Chrysler model, one cannot help but imagine how time flies. People were attracted to elongated, “shoe looking” vehicles back then. Nevertheless, the old school still has its share of elegance and brilliance. If this car is in excellent condition, I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it in these modern days. Perhaps wearing a tuxedo and a Mafia type hat would complete the overall effect.
Charlie Chaplin Style
This very old Chrysler Phaeton model undoubtedly brings back memories of black and white cameras, Al Capone, the pre-World War 2 days, and Charlie Chaplin. Back then, cars were primarily made for purposes of status symbol, not of speed and convenience. Would you agree that it’s quite boring to drive an elegant car which runs at an incredibly rapid rate of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour? It’s the machine version of the chariot, minus the horses of course. But don’t scorn the Phaeton, today it’s value is worth millions of dollars as a collector’s item.
Sturdy Country Cruiser

This sturdy looking ‘jeep type’ Chrysler is ready to face tough country roads, and can endure any rocky terrain. Or is it? It could be on its way to the junk shop for all we know. But whatever the fate of this old car model, it sure proved its worth by outliving its peers and counterparts. (I thought ‘thick crust’ and “thin crust” only applies to pizza, but I was wrong. It applies to wheels too.)
Will Chrysler Survive?
Chrysler has been around for many decades now. It has been one of the strongest and most popular brands in the history of the automobile industry. Sadly, at the time of this writing, Chrysler is badly hit by the bad economy and is facing tough challenges. Will they survive the economic onslaught? A good look at the photo above shows me there is hope. It’s not a distant possibility to see a sexier Chrysler in the future.

Chrysler is classy vehicle. Too bad the design of more convenient modern cars is taking over the classic Chrysler design. Nonetheless, Chrysler will always shine.
But it is true that economical cars (like my sedan Mahindra Renault Logan) have given expensive cars like Chrysler a run for the money. Logan is great Value For Money car http://www.mahindrarenault.com
