When driving, what is sometimes a cause of accidents is not seeing the blind spot through the use of your usual side view mirror.  In order to see that car located in the blind spot you would either have to turn your head to check, meaning your eyes would be off the road in front of you, or you could install a blind spot mirror.  Here is how to install one in your car.

First you can purchase these blind spot mirrors at your local auto shop.  They should be simple enough to find as they are small circular mirrors that can be installed to your side mirror.

Once you choose and purchase your blind spot mirror, you should clean your side mirror thoroughly first.  This would ready it for installation of your blind spot mirror.

The best way to install it accurately would be to have a friend park a car at your blind spot.  Get in your car then ask your friend to place their car or themselves where the blind spot should be.  You can even place an object like a high chair or stool where the blind spot is.  You shouldn’t be able to see it with the use of your side mirror.  Now the blind spot mirror’s perfect spot can be chosen, adjust mirror until you can see whatever is at the blind spot.  When you can see it install the blind spot mirror at that particular spot.

Now that you have eliminated the blind spot with your blind spot mirror, driving should be easier and safer overall.
