Motorcycle Tool Kit Essentials
Here are the things which you should bring everywhere while driving your motorcycle.
Most of us who own motorcycles don’t take the time to check if we bring around the proper tools in case our motorcycle breaks down on us. It is essential to always be prepared for whatever circumstance, so we don’t get caught scratching our heads while having a motorcycle mishap on the road. Here are some suggestions to ensure that you are always ready for anything.
- Clean up towels, for all the dirty work you have to do if ever you encounter oil leaks, and other dirty and grimy stuff.
- Screwdrivers in varying sizes of Phillips and flathead screwdrivers. There are all in one versions that are very portable, so it is a must have.
- Tire irons should also be part of your tool kit, for those quick flat fixes. You shouldn’t get into much trouble if you always have these on hand for flats.
- A set of open end wrenches of varying sizes should also be made part of your road tool kit, to help you loosen those different bolts on your motorcycle.
- A shortened ball-peen hammer, for whatever may need hammering on your motorcycle while on the road. Don’t hit too hard while hammering, as you might damage something essential to the motorcycle functioning properly.
- Pliers are also a good item to have. A whole set would be nice, but if being portable and light is essential then bring along the 6 mm and the 10 mm and you should be set.
Bring these tools along at all times when travelling on your motorcycle, and you should have a few less headaches if your motorcycle decides to break down on you.
