Mustang Restoration Blog
First blog about Mustang restoration.
I have recently purchased a 1973 Mustang fastback in hopes of reselling it at a higher value. I have never done this before so this will be a huge learning process for me. I wanted to share my experiences so anyone else can learn as I am. The car needs several minor repairs. These include interior and exterior. I will discuss these in detail in another blog. I plan on doing as many repairs myself as I can to save unnecessary costs for labor. Unfortunately, I am limited in two was. One being a minimum wage paycheck. The other being limited space and tools. These will stretch the restoration process, but I will enjoy owing the car nonetheless. Owning a vintage car opens up a whole new world previously unknown to me. I enjoy attending car shows, even though my car isn’t show quality yet. I have also been invited to a few car club meetings. I plan on attending a powdercoating demonstration, which I have always wanted to learn. Luckily for me, my neighbor has a ‘67 Mustang coupe in pristine condition. This has been a great first-hand resource to me. To conclude my first blog, I know that this will be a unique learning experience I have always wanted to undergo. It is very enjoyable to own a piece of rare history and seeing the difference in automobiles now and then. -Adam
