Review of My Saturn Vue
Reasons why the Saturn Vue is an excellent car to buy
When, I graduated from college, and had a decent job. I bought a 2004 Saturn Vue, their sports utility vehicle. I love this car. I have affectionately named it Rupert. I bought the car in April of 2004, and it gets rave reviews from me. It was inexpensive to purchase 17,000 for the four-cylinder model with a few upgrades. Rupert has a temperature and direction gage in the rear view mirror. The direction gage came in handy on a trip to North Carolina to visit my sister in law.
A few times, when we were not sure where we were going, the direction gage helped us to stay on track. I love the gas mileage on the car. I bought this car with standard transmission as well, so Rupert gets 24 miles per gallon in the city, and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. On a good month, I can go two to three weeks on one tank of gas. Rupert has excellent trunk capacity. You can stick a bicycle in the back, and still have room for people in the backseat. I have moved from an apartment to a house after I got married with this car. On the trip to North Carolina we packed it full of items left by my sister in law, and took them down to her.
We were still able to sit comfortably with all the stuff in the car. Just last week, my husband, Brian, and I were going out with a friend of ours. She has two small children. We were able to put both car seats in the backseat with one adult. I know this car is going to be great for my future children with that seating capacity. The car rides well, and it even handles snow like a dream. When this Rupert breaks down for good, I will buy another Rupert just like it, which is how much I love this car.
