This is Audi’s latest powerhouse.   The 2010 Audi S4 competes with other super-cars such as: Mercedes C63 AMG, BMW M3-series, Cadillac CTS-V, and last but not least the Lexus IS-F.

PROS:
Audi’s are some of the best looking European cars around.  Audi’s are revered by car buffs as being one of the better handling vehicles around.  The S4 is very similar to the A4 in looks, but the similarity ends there.  Audi’s and Jaguar’s are two of the best looking vehicles around; Audi interiors have Porsche cues, and rightfully so: Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche have been bedfellows for a long time.  Porsche has offered advise to Volkswagen, and especially Audi; the results have been very successful, and it’s not unusual for people to refer to the Audi’s as “The four-door Porsche.”  Not for long though; Porsche is scheduled to come out with a sedan, probably based on some variation of the Audi/Volkswagen group, but no one really knows yet, but for now; Audi’s are the closes to a four door Porsche you can get in both looks/performance.  The exterior of the 2010 S4 has changed just a bit, but not much.  The exterior is made for performance (like most Audi’s), so it looks aggressive, yet attractive at the same time.  A 3.0 supercharged engine produces 333 horsepower/325 pounds-feet of torque.   18 inch wheels, as well as an excellent braking system oozes performance out of this car.  0-60 can be achieved in 5.1 seconds.   Audi has always taken pride in having an exceptional safety record, so crash results are adequate.

CONS:
Like many European cars, the Audi has had a bad reliability record.  Although Audi’s record is not as egregious as Mercedes or BMW.  Audi (Volkswagen actually)  has taken great deal of pride in trying to improve their products.  The results have been pretty good, but still; Lexus and Infiniti rule the luxury car world with their impeccable reputations.  Audi is still seeing as a bit lacking, even if their reliability record has improved a bit.  Once Audi catches up, they should be quite successful.  Audi’s look really good, so as soon as they get  their act together; they will be amongst the more successful cars in the automotive industry offering great looks and peformance.
