Hot Wheels Monster Jam Trucks and Why They are Fun to Collect

This about fun world of collecting Hot Wheels Monster Jam Trucks.

Hot wheels cars and trucks have been around since 1968 when they first introduced in the toy market. They are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year.

Now they have new line of trucks called Monster Jam Trucks which were introduced into the toy market in the 2000.

Monster Jam trucks is a motorsport where they race around this dirt track either outdoors or indoors two trucks at time.  These races are called heats. The winner of each advance to next round until winner emerges. These monster jam trucks need to jump over these ramps at random spots along the dirt course. At these competitions they also have freestyle. These races take place in the United States majority of the time. They are under the United States Rod Association (USHRA). These trucks are custom made and are big as hummers maybe even little bigger. The racing finals are always in Las Vegas. Sometimes a single truck will tour around 50 states to promote their show.

Many boys around the ages of 5 to 12 like collecting them. There design reflects the actual trucks in these races and have clever names and decals. Some of the names are the following: Monster Mutt, Bounty Hunter, Scarlet Bandit, Broker, Bat Man and Spiderman just to name a few. The sizes range from 1:64 4inches wide x 4inches long. They also have series called Super speeder which are like 1:48 scale 6 inches long x 6inches wide. The last group is 1:24 scale which is 8inches long x 6inches wide.

At Christmas time they always seem to be hard to find. The stores only get so many in especially when there is new design or color change.

The prices for these can range $4.99 small scale to $21.99 for the large trucks

Usually every year they introduce new paints schemes and names and retire others from the series.

They also sell party favors in Monster Jam Truck theme and Model Kits for parents to buy.

Therefore it always changing and make it fun to collect them.

As you can see from pictures they are really creatively designed and eye catching in the detail. They are durable and last for years.
