Dear readers,

I decided that today I’m going to share a little bit of something about myself that you may not know.  I am very fascinated with knives and other weaponry.  I do not advocate using them for violence, I just think they are good collectibles.  I have several small pocket knives that my dad got when he rented a shed in Georgia.  Some of you may know that I used to work at a flea market, one of the things that I liked looking for at flea markets was pocket knives, daggers, and little trinkets like that.

For a long time I thought about going into the business of selling knives.  Unfortunately that did not work out for me too well but I still love to collect them and occasionally I will go to pawn shops and see what I can find there. I often find inexpensive knives and the pawn shop workers are usually nice people.

I’ve never been to a knife show but if I get the opportunity to go, I would jump at the chance. I especially like old medieval weaponry, my sister’s husband collects weapons as well.  Specifically he has several swords and a Viking battle axe that I think is really cool.  I know that this article is fairly short but nonetheless I hope you all enjoyed reading about one of my many interests and hobbies.
