Creativity at Your Home
Hobbies you can do when you don’t want to go out.
Some people couldn’t stay put in their houses. They easily get bored. Even while watching television they become restless. Not me, I enjoy staying at home. I always find myself doing lots of things. Here are some of the activities that I do.
Scrapbooking. There is a certain sense of fulfillment when I finish one album . You get to see your life in pictures and preserve memories when scrapbooking. You can use cut outs from magazines, stickers, colored papers, stationaries, scrapbook materials found in stores. You can expand your imagination and create a wonderful masterpiece. You could also surf in the internet for more ideas. A lot of scrapbook enthusiasts are unselfish in sharing their ideas. You could pick bits and pieces from them and create something original.
Crosstitching. I love cross stitching. The threads weaving something colorful. It is very relaxing to stitch and pass the time plus you could frame it and hang on the wall to serve as decoration. You could also wrap it nicely and give it to your loved ones . This would make a special gift since it is hand made.
Baking. The sweet aroma of freshly baked goodies warms the heart. It’s nice to be able to learn how to bake. Home made sweets are the most delicious gifts you can give. Once you get the hang of it you could improvise and add a little personal touch to your creation.
Painting. This requires a lot of patience as sometimes you produce something different from what is in your mind. But you can do it again and again until you are contented. The fusion of colors you produce while painting can represent your mood. The strokes of your brush with paint can bring to life beautiful pictures of things you want to share to those who will be able to see it. It will bring a glimpse of your soul.
I’m sure there are a lot of other activities you can do at home. Care to share what’s yours?
