Lullaby Wall Hanging
Soothe your little one to sleep with this adorable musical wall hanging.
Things You Will Need
- 1/4 yd.of white fabric
- colored pencils (box of 12)
- maxi piping (2 1/2-yd package)
- 3/4 yd of 2″w gathered eyelet lace
- 1/4 yd of white fleece
- 1 3/4yds of 5/8″ w white ribbon, and a touch AC music box
- Tracing paper
- Transfer paper
- Stylus
- Drawing compass
- poster board
- cardboard
- polyester fiberfill
- thread
- Craft glue
Method
- For wall hanging front, cut 9″ squares from white fabric and fleece.
- Trace man-in-the-moon and large and small star patters onto tracing paper. Transfer main-in-the-moon pattern to center of fabric square. Cut out star patterns.
- Use colored pencils to color man-in-the-moon design.
- Use drawing compass to make 7″ dia.circles from poster board and cardboard; cut out. Center fleece square, then fabric square right side up on cardboard circle. Fold excess fabric and fleece to back of circle. Glue in place.
- Cut one 24″ length each of piping and lace. Overlapping ends, glue piping around edge of cardboard circle. Turning one end under 1/2″ glue edge of lace to back of circle over piping.
- Cut one 12″, one 18″, and two 11″ lengths of ribbon. Tie the 18″ length into a bow. For hanger, fold the 12″ length in half. Glue 1″ of one end of each remaining ribbon to bottom back of wall hanging; cut a V-shaped notch in end of each streamer.
- Glue poster board circle to back of wall hanging.
- For stars, cut two 4″ x 6″ rectangles of fabric. Match right sides and raw edges of fabric rectangles. Draw around each pattern on wrong side of one rectangle. Sew around each star along drawn line; cut out. Make a small vertical cut in the middle of one layer of each star; turn right side out and press. Use yellow pencil to color each star. Stuff each star with fiberfill, adding music box in large star. Hand sew openings closed. Glue stars to streamers.

Good explanation… easy to follow steps….
