Make an Earring Keeper

Ingredients
- A plastic embroidery hoop any size
- Scissors
- 1 yard tulle fabric
- 2 feet of ribbon or cord
- Glue Dots
- Decorations such as rhinestones, stickers, pom-poms, etc.
Method
- Loosen the screw at the top of the embroidery hoop. Separate the 2 rings. Cut 3 pieces of tulle a few inches longer than the rings.
- Sandwich the tulle pieces in between the two rings. Press the smaller ring into the larger ring and tighten the screw. Trim the excess tulle by cutting as close as you can to the edge of the embroidery hoop.
- Loop a ribbon through the space between the hoop and the screw and knot the ends. Use Glue Dots to to attach rhinestones or other themed decorations to the front. Hook earrings through the tulle and secure them on the back.

What a great idea! I just took 1 layer of tulle, sewed seam binding around the edges (very challenging – it slips and slides as you sew) and then put it on my bathroom wall with four heart shaped pins.
But I like your idea! I am definitely making these for Christmas gifts this year.
