Making a Greeting Card

Making a Greeting Card

Creative works made from your own ideas and designs. Give away these cards for your love ones and friends.

Are you always wondering to make a unique greeting card for your lovers, parents, siblings, teachers, relatives and friends? Well, wonder no more as your answer is here! Just follow these steps……

  1. Lay out all your items that you will require for your card.
  2. Choose a variety of paper which ranging from plain to textured paper.
  3. Decide on the color, thickness, size and array of characteristics that will help you to make your card unique and outstanding from the rest.
  4. Get ready the items like glue, scissors, a penknife, coloring material and other things that you will need in order to make your card special (for instance glitter and ribbon). You can also cut out pictures or include stickers of your choice.
  5. Cut out the card which you want as the main part of your card.
  6. Cut it into a rectangular shape and fold the card (but not exactly in the middle).
  7. Allow the back half of your card to stick out more than the front half. In this way, the card appears to have more depth.
  8. Paint or put designs on this exposed part to give the card more character.
  9. Write out what you would like to convey on the front of your main card. It is easier to write out what you want to convey at this point while the surface of the card is still flat.
  10. Cut out a smaller card using a different paper. You can make more than one small card, but the more cards you add, the smaller they will have to be.
  11. What you want to put on a miniature card is entirely up to you. It may be jokes, idioms, funny pictures, stickers, designs, cartoons, photographs, etc.
  12. Once you have completed your task with the components of the card, you can paste them together. Again, the location of the smaller cards is entirely up to you.
  13. Add the finishing touches to your product.

Now, you have created or designed your one-in-the-world card. Have fun! It is not in just the giving, but the making as well!
