• In the bathrooms:

A bathroom is perhaps the most common place to have your shells in. Simply put a part of your collection in a fancy bowl or just place them roughly along a window sill.

• Ornaments:

You can use shells (specially spiral shaped ones) to be used as ornaments . Display them where there is ample amount of light such as on window sills or you can use artificial light to hight them on shelves or show cases.

• In water:

Displaying shells in water can be absolute fun .Put them in a goldfish bowl or fish tank or in a pretty transparent or translucent glass jar or vase. It just makes their colors more vivid.

• Jewelery making If you have many similar shells you can string them together to make a fine necklace or a pair of earrings for yourself by simply piercing a hole in each.

• Decorating House hold Accessories:

Just use a group of shells and use them to decorate just about anything,from mirrors,lampshades to walls,wardrobes and curtains.

• Frames:

If you have flat shells, use them to make beautiful frames . Make 4-5 of such similar frames and hang them together in your hall way or near your bathroom. Alternatively use an empty box ,make several sections in it and place a shell in each section. Cover the outside of the box with a blue gift wrap or paint it and it’s ready for display in your own room.

• Candles:

If you’ve been lucky enough to find some oyster shells, just fill them will some wax and place a wick in each. They should look marvelous for lighting romantic dinners for two. They can be  a perfect accompaniment to a relaxing bath.

• Basket:

A plain wicker or jute basket or any other small basket can be filled with shells and placed anywhere in the house.
