There are many important invention that today we use but we rally don’t know who was its original inventor this is the case of the sewing machine. this article talks about who really invented it.

There are many arguments about who really invented the sewing machine .There were various machines made as early as 1755 ,and machines were made in Europe and the United States during the 1700s an 1800s . However most Americans claim that the sewing machine was originally invented by Elias Howe ,a farmer from Massachusetts .He patented it in 1845 ,but he didn’t sell any machines .He tried to sell his machine in England ,But he wasn’t successful .When he returned to the United States he found that many people were making his machines –and ignoring his patent! One of those people was Isaac Singer ,the name that is associated today with sewing machines. After many lawsuits .Howe finally got his money ,but his name is not remembered.
