Everyone is biased on the subject of marijuana. it is a fast acting pain reliever, appetite inducer, but also brain numbing substance if abused. marijuana A.K.A weed has been around since the colonial days. there are stories of Benjamin franklin sitting on his back porch smoking weed. he didn’t abuse it like some, but used it in reason. on one side of the argument we find people who have never tried marijuana and are biased against it because they have seen one of the lifestyles Incorporated with it. then again, do these people see the cancer victims that are still alive and not in excruciating pain due to the herb? one of my beliefs is that the reason its not legal is because it cannot be taxed or controlled, and the white house needs a scapegoat. it takes 1500 pounds of cannabis to overdose smoked in under 15 minutes, but 2 bottles of NyQuil to overdose, which anyone can buy. people say that high drivers are an issue, but they usually never exceed 5 miles an hour. marijuana for medical uses should be legal, but the issue of “weed” for recreational purposes is sketchy, due to that we cant tax it and high people are forgetful. thank you, good day
