Marijuana Growing in Our Garbage Dumps

Marijuana Growing in Our Garbage Dumps

The danger of marijuana usage.

Every year U.S. sanitation workers report a large number of marijuana plants growing in the city dumps. According to a Florida sanitation manager, they reported nearly 200 plants last year. He’s says It’s from a large number of illegal drug usage and users are throwing the marijuana seeds in the garbage. New York, New Jersey, and California reported more than one thousand plants last year. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has been keeping a close eye on the sanitation departments. One DEA official says that if this type of marijuana ends up with the wrong people, we could have an epidemic on our hands. This marijuana is dangerous because of all the harsh and poisonous chemicals that cultivate in the roots of the plant from the grounds. He continued to say that they were unsure as to how many plants has actually left the garbage sites and is being sold on the street. If you are using be careful because this marijuana looks just like regular marijuana. There is no difference in smell or taste, and you could end up with cancer after smoking as many as one joint. The DEA official said that they will continue to monitor the sites around the U.S.  and anyone acting suspicious will be arrested.
