Some uses for Cannabis Sativa also known as Hemp or Marijuana.
Cannabis is widely know for it’s recreational use as a drug, but hemp does not contain and THC (Tetra-Hydra-Cannabanol) which is the active ingredient in marijuana that “gets you high.” Hemp has many uses in foods, textiles, medicine, and in industrial material.

2. Surprisingly hemp can be used to make a sort of lactose free milk, which in turn can be a replacement for dairy in dishes that lactose-intolerant people might consume.
3. Marijuana has been used on AIDS patients and Chemotherapy patients to treat nausea because marijuana has been proven to contain chemicals to promote hunger.
4. Hemp is used effectively to make paper, it is 4x as efficient than using wood pulp (which is the most used way of making paper). Also making paper out of hemp uses 3/4 less polluting sulfur based chemicals into the atmosphere.
5. Since hemp produces 250% more fiber than cotton and 600% more fiber than flax it can be an effective textile base. Products such as clothes, bedding, rugs, napkins and many many others.
6. Hemp has lots of industrial uses like insulation, wood chips, animal bedding, concrete, plaster etc.
