When most people think of McDonald’s, they don’t think about the interior design of the building.  They are more interested eating their fast food and leaving.

In Manhattan NY a McDonald’s has completely change the atmosphere. There are places one can get Internet access of their laptop while eating.

This McDonald’s is the first in the U.S. to decorate in the European style.  It is tyring to get more of the younger generations. These young people are lingering over their meals like they would a night club.

This restaurant has the same food as McDonald’s all over the USA.

There are bold vertical stripes on the wall and a design that looks like an animal print, but in reality is French architect’s PhilipeAvanzi’s  magnified thumbprint.

In this restaurant, their are tables of all sizes, from two to enough to hold a business meeting.

Arne Jacob-sen, a Danish designer was making them a chair called an egg chair that look like it belongs in the future. Jacob sen quit because McDonald’s was buying reproductions along with the real chairs.

McDonald’s has done well despite the recession, but went down in October sales.  In October in Europe sales went up 6.4%
