All Shout for Spinach

All Shout for Spinach

Dogs with scurfy skin and dull coats seem to benefit from this.

All shout for spinach!

Does you dog get a scurfy skin? scratching all the time and no sign of flea’s?

Does your dog get a dull coat? that stares out at you?

My dogs did, especially round malting time, when they just looked plain annoyed with all the itchy, scratchy skin.

I found putting spinach into there diet helped.

Spinach has a number of good qualities. It is rich in antioxidants also vitamin A,C,E,K and magnesium and three from the vitamin B group.

You can get frozen spinach that’s in little cubes, just thaw one out and pop into their meal daily, see how your dogs skin and coat improves.

Putting it in with sardines or oily fish makes an ideal skin feeder and your dogs are sure to love it too.

If you are using fresh spinach don’t over boil, just dip the leaves into the boiling water for a few seconds then out again. I then use ice cubes trays to put small amounts of the spinach in and then froze it.  Popping it out of the trays just as you would with ice cubes and just thawing out the daily the amount I needed.
