Frosted Flakes and Milk

Frosted Flakes and Milk

They’re GR-R-REAT.

They’re GR-R-REAT!  It’s 2:00 am and I am having a midnight snack. And there’s nothing better than Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes and a glass of cold milk. Hopefully, the vitamins in my favorite cereal will keep me alert while I finish writing my last article for Triond. Listening to Beethoven.com on line and wondering what my fans are doing at this time. Last time I checked, it was 4am in Israel. It was only 11pm in Florida. So, I will be going to bed soon and others will be rising. In a few weeks, we have to rotate our clocks again. I believe it is on Halloween weekend. Great! One less hour of sleep. Getting used to waking up an hour earlier especially when it is pitch dark outside is not something that I look forward to.  Just finished turning off my lights and brushing my teeth again. No matter how tired I am, I always make a habit to brush my teeth again especially after a late night snack. So I am having writer’s block. I have no idea what to write. But this is how you work on your creativity. In order for my story to get published, it must be at least three paragraphs. When I first started writing for Triond, I had to revise an article because it was too short according to their standards. Several hours ago, I had shut down my computer and logged off from Triond. But then I logged on again to check for any new messages and comments. Talk about addiction!  Next, I proceeded to read more articles and comment like I usually try to do on  a regular basis. And I came across several very well-written poems contributed by a talented writer in the Triond community who finds that by writing poetry he can express himself better. Through his use of imagery, the reader visualizes every single detail of his prose. Now that is talent. It’s about 3:00 am and I am logging off. I wasn’t expecting to be on Triond at this time especially when I do have to wake up in a few hours to go to work. I am getting ready to submit my article. Just clicked on misspellings and no misspellings were found. But there is always a glitch on my article regardless. It’s 3:00 am in Florida and close to 8:00am in Israel. Hopefully, this article will get published soon.

In England our clocks change at the end of October, but I think we gain an hour. We have to lose an hour in spring when we move to summer time.

Nicely written and a creative way to deal with writer’s block. Now I’m going to tell you something that may shock you. I like chocolate milk with my cereal. Don’t knock it unless you’ve tried it.
