How to Eat a Biscuit

How to Eat a Biscuit

Do you know how to eat a biscuit??? Do you??? Do you really??? Think again!!

In light of recent news regarding the safety of Biscuits, the: ‘Biscuit Organisation of Law, Legislation, Occupation, Checks, and Known Sideeffects’ would like to publish the following guidelines regarding low and high risk biscuit safety:

In low risk situations:

  • A low risk situations shall be defined as one that does not including high temperature fluids, Sharpe objects or high risk biscuits.  In which circumstances:
  • Ensure that no foreign objects are contained within the biscuit.  Glass, nails, or fingers for example
  • Maintain standard methods of consumption.  It must be made clear that standard oral customer is the ONLY on recommended as safe by the organisation.  Less, orthodox multi-orifice methods of biscuit consumption can be both potencialy dangerous and morally questionable.
  • Remember to follow standard manual handling technique whilst lifting or move individual biscuit or packets.

High Risk situations

Logically this must be defined as any situation including high temperature fluids, Sharpe objects or high risk biscuits.

In this situation it is advisable to enlist the support of an expert!!!  It can not be stated firmly enough that the use of sharp objectives or dangerous liquids kill millions annually.  ‘COSHH training’ whilst dealing with a potentially  hazardous substance is a LEGAL REQUIREMENT, just because the chemical is one used from day to day doesn’t mean you can afford to become complacent!

Luckily the: ‘Biscuit Organisation of Law, Legislation, Occupation, Checks, and Known Sideeffects’ has teams of locally trained experts that are free to members,  and will offer in-house training

We are, as always,  continuing to look into your safety and well being, as well as your enjoyment.
