Tarot Secrets Revealed: The Suit of Wands
Delving into part of the Minor Arcana-The Suit of Wands.
The Suit of Wands( or Staffs as it is sometimes known ) makes up a quarter of the Minor Arcana- or Lesser Secrets, and is composed of Fourteen cards.
Wands symbolise the Spiritual Element of Fire, and often show up in a Tarot Reading when the focus of the question is related to Careers, Travel, and personal Goals and Projects.
The Wand symbolises Creative Enterprise and suggest, like the Stereotypical image of the Magician, that the Wand holds the key to turning Imagination into Reality.
The Suit of Wands starts with the Ace – Ten, then culminates in the Page, Knight, Queen, King. These are the Court cards that represent the level of mastery over the Element of Fire that the Questioner has achieved.
In matters concerning Job Applications or Travel plans, the suit of Wands will show the successes, disappointments and troubles along the way, and will also show heavy responsibilities and communications regarding the Question asked.
Whenever a Tarot Spread has a Majority of Wand cards, this usually denotes that the answer to the problem is one that can be reached by the client using their own personal skills and experience.
