How to Make a Homemade Water Pipe

How to Make a Homemade Water Pipe

How to make a water pipe out of household products.

Tools and Materials

  • 1x Hose 10cm Long
  • 1x Bottle (preferably a hard plastic bottle like a gatorade bottle as coke bottles are not durable enough)
  • 1x  Aluminum foil (5cm x 5cm)or Aluminum can
  • 1x Lighter

Method

  1. Burn A Hole in the bottle about half way up until a small hole has been melted through.
  2. Push the hose in while the hole is still hot. Move the hose so its relatively close to the bottom
  3. Burn a Hole On the back side ( for your Shotgun or “Shotty”) -Small in size
  4. If using aluminum foil: Push through into the hose to make a small Cone piece ( push it 1cm in) If it isnt airtight i suggest putting rubber bands around it.
If using a can: Cut a circle (2.5cm wide ish.) then cut a small wedge from the centre (like a pie :D ) Curl it into a cone shape then place it in the hose.
You May need to melt the hose to the cone piece.
  5. Smoke =)

Don’ts

First, do not use PVC pipe. Although it might be safe to use PVC for the chamber portion of the bong, do not under any circumstances use it for the stem or the bowl portion. If PVC is subjected to flame then it can release toxic chemicals which you will then inhale. Not the best for health. Also, be extremely wary of using certain metals for either the chamber, stem, or bowl. Most metals don’t have a low enough melting or sublimation point which could pose a danger when using a lighter flame. However, some metals like lead could possibly release harmful toxins into the bong water.
