Motorcyclists should have to wear helmets. The law in Pennsylvania says that it is their choice and that if they want to take the risk they should be able to.

First, the truth is motorcyclists’ behavior affects everyone on the road. When driving down the road behind a motorcycle, car drivers have to be much more careful. One wrong move by either one and both their lives may be in danger.

In addition, with the driver exposed and the small design of the bike, motorcycles are a hazard. What’s even more ridiculous is that these people are allowed to ride without a helmet. Personally, if the rider wants to be irresponsible and put themselves in harm’s way it’ their choice.

The problem is that these motorcyclists affect not only themselves but everyone on the road. In like manner, motorcyclists are very selfish. Sure they may enjoy the wind blowing through their hair and the feeling of being “free”, but the risks involved are far greater. They don’t understand that what they are doing is extremely risky and may lead to serious injury and even death. Motorcycles are dangerous enough as is; why make them more of threat?
