Autumn is here and the leaves are just beginning to change color and fall to the ground in many places. Everyone does something different with the leaves. Some people do not bother with the leaves at all, they just let them lay on the ground. Some people rake the leaves and burn them. Some people take the leaves and stuff them in clothes and make Halloween decorations out of them. While some people, like me, rake them for children to play in. I love to go out for walks in the Autumn and just listen to the sound of the leaves crunching under my feet. Now, with all that being said, I would like to take you some various states in America, to just look at some very pretty leaves. I really hope you enjoy these!

This wonderful picture of the Autumn leaves is from the state that I live in, Pennsylvania. The leaves here are just starting to change. The northern part of the state will start to peak at the end of the first week of October. But where I live, it does not peak until about the third week of October.

In the state of Virginia, the best time to view the awesome leaves is usually the last week of October and the first week of November when they are hitting their peak.

In Missouri the the leaves are gorgeous! They are just beginning to change there. They will not reach their peak until the middle of October.

The colors in the Vermont leaves are completely stunning. Vermont leaves are already near their peak. They should be there as early as next week.

A pretty picture with the Autumn leaves. Autumn does not begin until late September or early October in the state of Wisconsin. It reaches its peak about the third week of October.

In the state of Maine the foliage is dazzling. The northern half of the state is almost at its peak. Autumn has definitely arrived for Maine!

These pretty reddish-pinkish leaves are found in the state of Oregon. In Oregon, Autumn is here already. The leaves should peak around the third week of October.

This marvelous Autumn picture is in the state of Massachusetts. Autumn is beginning there and will peak in different parts of the state during the month of October.

This is a excellent picture of the fall leaves reflecting in the water in New Hampshire. The further north you go in the state, the earlier the peak of the season. Autumn has already begun and should hit its peak around the second week of October.

This would be a lovely place to take a walk. This is in the state of Michigan. The Autumn colors are just beginning and will go through late October.
