How to Make a Scout Shelter
A detailed how to guide on making an all natural scout shelter. It can be used for hunting, camping, survival situations or just for fun in a nearby woods.
Step 1. You will need to dig a hole big enough for you to sit in it and not go over the top. You also need to be able to lie down in it without being hurt if a big sword swung across ground level but going straight and not into the hole, just above it. This link will take you to the diagram of the first step.
Step 2. Now You need to find some long sticks and put them on top of all of the scout shelter except for the first 2.5-3.5 feet. They should be at least as wide as the scout shelter plus at least a foot. Do this until you start to run out of wood or it is a foot thick. This link will show a diagram of the second step.
Step 3. Next you will need a bunch of weeds or any brush that you can find. Pile it on top of the scouts shelter until you can’t see out when you try to look up from under it. Click on this link to go to the diagram of the third step.
Now you can do whatever you want to do with your scout shelter, if that is live longer, fire a gun, play around, collapse it , look at it, sit on it , throw rocks at it, camp in it, or whatever. I don’t care what you do just don’t do anything illegal (slightly optional) or dangerous (not optional).
