Seven Summer Dates for Under $20

Seven Summer Dates for Under $20

The art of romance should not have to break your budget!

With the warm days of summer laying the wide outside world open to us, the art of romance should not have to break your budget. Here are seven simple ways that you can satisfy your desire to be adventurous and provide some memorable dating moments.

1. Go local: Be sure to take special interest in activities that are available in your area. They could provide the perfect date. Most zoos or botanical gardens offer adult tickets for less than ten dollars. If you a planner, you can even pack your own snacks and bottled water and have a mini picnic while you’re there. Spend the day peering at interesting animals and exhibits or even simply walking hand in hand through gardens of exotic flowers and tropical rainforests.

2. Get some sun at the nearby lake, beach, or river front. Take a dip in the water, or a sensual stroll along the pier. Want to add some excitement? A prudent trip to the dollar store can yield inexpensive water toys that can have you laughing long into the afternoon. If you are a natural planner, you may even be prepared to extend the date by packing a cooler with a bottle of wine along with some inexpensive gourmet chocolates, as you cuddle up to watch the sunset.

3. The summer heat provides the perfect excuse to indulge intimacy with an ice cream date. You can choose cups or cones as you take a walk through the city, or meander through or meadow. Take advantage of the natural lighting and your camera along. You may capture the moment of your first kiss!

4. Even a sudden shower can’t put a damper on a summer date. If the rain comes down unexpectedly, move you date indoors with a dollar movie theater for a movie marathon. Don’t wish to appear too frugal? Try a taking a stroll through a Museum, which will give you the opportunity to peruse historic exhibits, special exhibitions, and art galleries

5. Get rugged and go on a romantic hike walking side by side as you explore the great outdoors in natural environments. You can even plan ahead buy bringing an inconspicuous backpack along. Then as you hit a clearing or a meadow with a beautiful view you can surprise your date with a bottle of wine, some fresh fruit, and a seductive smile.

6. Go find the mundane. People often overlook impressive things that are often just a few stray turns from home. A dam, a trendy out of the way coffee shop or secluded hillside overlooking the city, may be a sight that you drive past everyday, but never take the time to explore on foot. Showing someone something that they have seen before from a new, often awe-inspiring perspective cannot only change how they seen the local sights. It could also have them taking a second, more intense look at you as continued dating potential.

7. Go to a local pool hall or crash a miniature golf course. It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or a world-class player at these events; it is all in the spirit of fun. Games are usually cheap and very easy on your budget and fun times are certain to be a sure shot!

Aww – Tremell some great ideas here – relaxing, pleasant and inexpensive. A friend of mine had ’splashed out’ literally on his lady – 500-600 bux at the Grange restaurant in the Hilton – and that was just the food!! Idiot!!!!
