Things to Do on Date Night with Your Spouse
This is a list of things that can be done on date night with your spouse. These are just some ideas that you can try or use as inspiration to come up with your own.
The rules are pretty simple. Ban any talk about work or anything that you would normally fight about. Then pick an activity listed below, and enjoy. If it is tough to agree on one thing to do, compromise by doing what she wants on one date night, and what he wants on the next, and continue alternating as needed. If you are doing something you are not particularly fond of, go with your best attitude and be open-minded.
- Go out for dinner and a movie
- Go hiking
- Go biking
- Take a long walk at the park/beach/through the neighborhood
- Go out for coffee and a pastry
- Go skiing
- Play scrabble/monopoly/your favorite board game
- Go lingerie shopping and share fantasies of how it will be used next time you have sex
- Try out a new restaurant
- Go skating
- Visit a place that means a lot to you
- Try out a new wine
- Take a dance class together
- Visit a museum
- Visit a botanical garden or arboretum
- Go on a picnic
- Go to a concert that you both would enjoy
- Attend a play
- Throw a party
- Organize a double date with your best friends
- Go bowling
- Sing karaoke together
- Hit the bar scene with your spouse (only flirting allowed is with your spouse! Being drunk is not an excuse!)
- Order pizza/take-out and snuggle with each other on the couch to the glow of a movie on the TV
- Teach each other a hobby of yours that you had not shared with them.
- Play Wii / Playstation / XBox
- Have a double date with friends.
- Go camping
- Order take out and veg out together.
- Read a book and exchange ideas about the book.

Hi Guy,
I am sure they will work for bachelors and bachelorettes as well. I have found out that some married people think the fun is over once you’re married, and they forget that it is important to continue date night.
Nice article. I am still new to keeping a personal blog online. My focus is on arts and crafts.

Hello, Maria Padilla:
I’m a bachelor but I’m sure several of these suggestions would work with a significant other. Actually, I’ve had several dates with the main entertainment being karaoke in a nearby neighborhood Italian Bar/Restaurant.
My date and I always had a good time. http://www.writinghood.com/online-writing/my-personal-blog-sent-hundreds-of-hits-to-my-triond-content-in-june/
