Budget Friendly Birthday Bash

Budget Friendly Birthday Bash

Cost-effective party planning.

Another year older. As your child grows, you notice pretty early on, that the days suddenly begin to disappear more quickly than ever before. Your precious little baby  turns into a running, jumping, tricycle-riding preschooler right before your eyes. What better way to create wonderful memories, than by creating memorable events? Throwing a great party for your child does not have to break the bank to create an enjoyable time for everyone involved. Kids and parents alike will enjoy these low cost party ideas.

Color Theme

A great, low cost, decorative idea is to choose a color theme. such as pink and white for ex.  Buy streamers and balloons in these colors. These are convenient decorations that will spruce up any room or outdoor area. You can also buy matching paper plates and napkins for an extra flare. ;)

Food Games

A fun, cost effective, game idea is to set out a paper plate in front of each guest. Next, give each guest a piece of Bubble Yum Bubble Gum and ask them to unwrap it and set it in the middle of their plate. Next, proceed to cover each guest’s gum with whip cream. First to get their bubble gum and blow a bubble hands-free, wins!
Another great game to play with food is to play with different types blindfolded. Try putting peaches in a bowl full of juice and telling the kiddos they are touching goldfish. This is sure to get a rise!

Drinks and Party Snacks

Fast  and delicious, this delightfully fizzy yet tangy punch will be the hit of the party. It just might even be the easiest part of getting ready for the fun.
Begin with ½ gallon orange, raspberry, lime or rainbow sherbet, then poor 2 liters of chilled lemon lime soda over the top! You can also ad a few more scoops of sherbet to float on the surface of the punch bowl if you like.

Did you know that putting food on a stick improves the flavor? This sweet kebob alternates fruit and marshmallows for a tasty summer treat…

You will need 2 apple slices, 3 marshmallows and 2 banana slices for each kebob, as well as a skewer.
Alternate fruit and marshmallows (Apple, marshmallow, banana ex,)
