Seven Weird Hobbies
Just some thoughts as to what you can do after work.
You wake up, you go to work, you have dinner and go to bed. Tired of the same old life? Perhaps try out one of these hobbies to spice up the way you live!
Metal Detecting – the beach ain’t just for swimming and bathing in the sun. Treasure lies beneath the sands, either that or a rusted anchor.
Tornado Chasing – just don’t get too close and keep looking at the weather forecast.
Ghost Hunting – Think your house is anything but haunted? Think again.
Cosplay – the term comes from two words “Costume” and “play”. The hobby originated from Japan and is growing worldwide. The idea is to dress up as your favourite anime character and mimic his actions, in private or public.
Button Collecting – Thinking of starting your own collection of sort, try this. Just when you’re about to throw a few old rags away, remember to collect the buttons first!
Barbie Doll Collecting – Think in the long run. Once you have enough, you can open up a Barbie store.
Village Idiot – This hobby is perfect, if you crave for attention. Some are just natural at this.

I’ve always wanted a metal detector. I came from such a small town we had to hire a village idiot from the neighboring town.

Storm-chasing……I’ve always fancied that, and I’m no adrenaline junkie, just fascinated by tornadoes!

Some great suggestions. I have had a go at the metal detecting, but I might leave tornado chasing as I like the comfort and safety of my armchair better. LOL.

Great informative and different.
I am aware of the ghost in my house, and I am cool with him, it just spooks the rest of the family, I need to find out why he is linger. It is hard to concentrate when the house is so busy with teenagers WOW and Hannah Montana in the back ground.
I agree we do need to make our lives a bit more interesting.
Great Article

Excuse you? I resemble that remark.
just kidding. I write poems as a hobby based on my people watching hobby. Some people just flow with poetic inspiration. Some people draw a blank.
