Cigars have always been associated with high society. Cigar smokers have built a culture around the art of smoking cigars. Like tasting wine, smoking a cigar has been associated with money and power.

It has been thought that cigars were first produced in Spain, and then spread to other European countries. Although cigars are made in many countries, Cuban cigars are very highly regarded as the most flavorful and rich tasting of all cigars. This is because the regional weather and soil in this area produce the highest quality tobacco. And the skill of this country’s cigar makers. Most people believe that the cigar’s main attraction is how it is manufactured. Wrapping cigars by hand produces the highest quality of the cigars. Cigars undergo a long process of fermentation and aging, which results in the subtle flavors and textures of each cigar. Each cigar has it’s own unique quality and the best cigars will not leave you with a smoky after taste.

Most cigars on the market are made by wrapping three layers of tobacco leaves together. High quality cigars use long leaves of nicotine as the filler. This results in different variations, different textures, and complex flavors in the cigar. Cigarettes, unlike cigars, are not made by hand and they are mass-produced by machines and only contain one type of tobacco. Cigars come in an wide variety of flavors. Even though cigars have a rich, smooth flavor, you need to be aware that they do have a health risk. It is a well known fact that all tobacco contains nicotine. We all know about the health risks of nicotine. Nicotine is a stimulant and it can produce a sense of euphoria which will cause you to become addicted to it. Nicotine is highly addictive and contains various toxins, carcinogens, and irritants that the even the casual cigar smoker will breath in. The casual smoker is not immune to this health risk due to the fact that smoking is addictive. The smoker will come in contact with toxins, carcinogens, and irritants from smoking. Even though most cigar smokers do not inhale the smoke does not eliminate the health risks of smoking. You can still be at risk for various types of oral cancers and larynx cancers from smoking.

The aroma from a just lit cigar may be appealing, but remember that even the aroma can cause a health risk to not only the smoker, but the people around the smoker. So the best advise is to avoid this aromatic smell all together.
