Top 10 Drugs and Their Effects
Drugs, drugs, drugs… some over here, some over there. We know that Ecstasy gives you a sort of an “outside-of-itself” feeling; Heroine gives you psychological dismantlement, gastrointestinal unpleasantness, urinary problems and so much more. And the odd ones… do you know their effects? Well, get ready to learn some of the oddest drugs out there that make you… well, go loopy. So open your eyes to new “discoveries”.
Side Note: Please, don’t abuse drugs- don’t look at this and start using some of the drugs listed; this is not to promote, this is to show how far people go and ruin their lives.
10) Anafaril (Clomipramine)
Anafaril is an anti- depressant. Side effects- an orgasm each and every time you yawn. In 1983 an article was posted in the Canadian Journal of Psychiatry: it case studied a woman in her twenties who behaved, well… oddly. Over and over she purposely abused the drug in order to deliberately experience its “advantages”- “she found she was able to experience orgasm by deliberately yawning”. Let’s hope that doctors don’t start prescribing this drug willingly.

9) DDT
Yes, DDT the pesticide. DDT has been banned/ made illegal in many countries due to its many environmental concerns. Now it needs to be banned for health hazards/ concerns. DDT produces a feeling equivalent to that of Ecstasy. Mickey Slim, a “pretty-much-banned” cocktail, lived a short- loved popularity during 1940s- 1950s. Main ingredient: a small amount of DDT added to gin because only a small amount would dissolve.

DiPT
If your familiar with the word “tryptamine” then you know that tryptamine effects auditory functions. Abusers experience low pitch voices on the radio, distorted songs, and light hallucinations. If you’ve ever wanted to experience bloating then this is it; if you don’t then don’t take the drug… or immediately after usage, consume antacid for it usually clears this bloating feeling. Also, unfortunately for some abusers, a buzzing feeling in the ear will come forth and could last for up to two weeks!

7) Saffron
It’s the more beautiful things that must be watched… Saffron remains as one of the most ancient drugs out there continuing into modern history: the Ancient Minoans used the “drug” as a simple tea infusion in order to obtain a certain kind of high; Persians and Greeks believed it an additive and the Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Substances states that the flower “… is known to have… narcotic effects similar to those of opium…” What a wicked flower!

6) Catnip
Yes, catnip’s apparently not only for cats now- humans have found pleasure in it also (what will we think of next…) Users say don’t get your hopes up though: It leaves a minty aftertaste and is much easier to smoke than pot (no coughing included). So don’t get your hopes up. Catnip also gives a mellow “pot- like” buzz as such smokers claim.

5) Xenon (XE)
Xenon is a heavy, odorless gas that is found in the Earth’s atmosphere. Other locations include lasers, gas- discharge lamps, medical imaging, nuclear power processing and for production of MEMS (micro electromechanical systems). Most popular: anesthesia. If your familiar with the drug you’ll know that anesthesia leaves you hallucinating (side- effect). Xenon’s effects are similar to those of nitrous oxide except no auditory effects and/ or headaches.

4) Various Venom’s and Poisons
Arsenic and strychnine (poisons) and various venom’s have been known to cause hallucinations. In late- 19th- century Austria, mountain climbers consumed the arsenic regularly in order to “…obtain healthy and sturdy looks… to appear strong and robust,” and to “…facilitate breathing while climbing…” (Baron Ernst Von Bibra). As for the venom, cobra venom was consumed by Holy Men in India for its psychoactive effects. Ten Native American tribes in California were also known for having swallowed live ants. The ants went to work by biting the stomach- lining, injecting their venom, and vomited straight back out with the ant still alive.

3) C-4 Explosives
C-4 is a very effective explosive- being 1.34 times more effective/ explosive than TNT. Modern veterans have been recorded using C-4 for their psychedelic effects. Side- effects: tremors and seizure activities but no human explosion. On the Marine Corps training document, it outlines that following caution: “Do Not ingest any explosive material(s).”

2) Urine
Urine is golden. Eskimos and tribes throughout Siberia consumed the urine of another who had dined on fly agarics mushroom (Amanita muscaria). This approach helped conserve and economize the mushrooms. There was a specific way this urine consumption was done though- since the first “batch” of urine gave you more nausea and cramps, it was recommended that you drank later “generations”. This type of “pleasure” led to the butchering of reindeer that had eaten the fly agaric for a contact high.

(other urine pictures were disturbing…)
1) Salamander Brandy
Salamander Brandy involves animal cruelty- two forms of it in fact. Produced in Slovenia, Salamander Brandy is made by: 1) a salamander hangs from its back legs and brandy is poured onto them and drips into a cup. 2) The salamander is placed on a sieve and left to drown in brandy. Both of these ways are to ensure that the salamander becomes defensive and lets loose their “special” poison, thus infusing it with the brandy. Symptoms of the Salamander Brandy include both LSD Ecstasy effects.
