Dominating all the news today is the tragic death of a major star of the entertainment world. But there is another.
Because of the overwhelming publicity surrounding Michael Jacson’s death, some may not be aware of the passing of another wonderful star.
Her name is Farrah Fawcett.

A multiple Golden Globe and Emmy Award nominee, this amazing star was also a pop culture figure whose hairstyle was emulated by millions of young women and whose poster sales broke records, creating an international sex symbol in the 1970s and 1980s.
Farrah starred in as many as 18 theatrical films and more than 40 television shows.

After years of battling cancer, Farrah Fawcett died at 9:28 a.m. Pacific daylight time on June 25, 2009, in the intensive care unit of Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California.
May she rest in peace!

Such a beautiful woman! Everyone wore \’\'The Farrah hair \” for years and some still do! You have a wonderful tribute to her here. It is horrendous to view the reactions of rubber-neckers, (the curious) and know the attraction to the possiblities of filth rather than view and pay respects to heroes and heroines This can be one – [more] – pitiful – world.

I was surprised how little was in the news about Farrah even with Jacksons death doesn’t seem right,
