Britney Spears. Need I Say More?
A look at the troubled superstar.
Britney Spears was born on 02.12.1981, in the small town of Kentwood, Louisiana, America. She is one of three children. Apparently she was brought up in an environment of drug taking, drinking and fighting, so we ask ourselves could that be why Britney Spears seems to be having so many problems at present.
At school Britney was a gymnast enthusiast and had a big lust for fame. She tried out for kids TV program The Mickey Mouse Club at the age of 8 but was told she was too young. At age 11 she featured on the program with Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
Back in 1999 when Britney released “Baby one more time” she seemed really happy.
What changed?
For the second time in a month Britney has been sectioned, one would wonder why they let her out in the first place. She was deemed a possible danger to herself. It is believed that she has bipolar disorder, (don’t believe it myself but I’m no Dr.) a condition of manic depression of extreme highs and lows. But while all this is going on her parents, manager and paparazzi boyfriend seems to be arguing over who has the singers best interest at heart. (Surely they should just get on amicably and be there for her)
Could mental instability be becoming a new spectator sport, if it was Jo Bloggs from Yorkshire, a no body really, then no one would care, or feel the need to write about it. Could it be time to leave the poor girl alone?
Despite the singer being constantly photographed drunk, she doesn’t really need the fame so no one can accuse her of trying to enhance it.
In total Britney has sold over 83m records and was ranked the worlds most powerful celebrity by Forbes magazine in 2002. Her latest album “Blackout” (Catchy title) entered the US charts at No 2, so where is she going wrong.
Her latest troubles are to have started in November 2006, when she decided to divorce Kevin Federline. Despite rumors that they argued constantly, it would seem that she had managed to find some stability and have 2 kids. Only then to enter a custody battle to which seemed the starting point of Britney Spears losing her mind.
