Donald John Trump was born on June 14th 1946. He is currently 63 years old and has built himself both in the business and in the entertainment industries. Trump is well known for his appearance in several TV shows.

Trump went to The Kew-Forest School in Queens but at the age of 13 he was pulled out the school and sent to New York Military Academy by his parents who did it in the best interests thinking he would achieve better in the Academy. Trump did quite well and he did well in both on the academic and sports side. After that he went to Fordham University for 2 years and then to the Wharton School at the university of Pennsylvania. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Science in economics.

Following that he joined his father’s real-estate company. In 1971 Trump decided to move to Manhattan which he saw as a good place to make some money especially in large building projects. Several opportunities popped up but he didn’t go threw with them as he didn’t see them as a very good investment. But later on Trump offered to take over a project which started in 1980 which was meant to take 2 and half years to complete and that was the restoration of the Wollman Rink. And after 6 years and $12 million spent on it and it was hardly complete Trump took over and with $3 million in budget left he finished the project in 6 months with a remainder of $750,000 out of the $3 mill budget. Trump also owns several hotels and casino’s including the Taj Mahal’s casino which is worth $1 billion.

In 1989 after the recession, financial problems started to arise for Trump and by 1991 he was left in bankruptcy. He was over $900 million in personal debt and $3.5 billion in business debt. He later then agreed to give up 49% of his luxury Trump Plaza Hotel to Citibank to help get rid of some of his debt. By 1994 his debts had significantly decreased. But despite his debts he managed to keep hold of his 3 of his major casinos in Atlantic City and his Trump Tower in New York which is valued at $288 million. By 1997 Donald Trump was out of debt. Trump now owns many projects including one of his highest valued projects which was valued at $1.2 billion, which is the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago.

Recently in 2003 Trump became the executive producer and host for a show called ‘The Apprentice’ and he is well known for his catchphrase “Your Fired”, He later filled in a trademark form for the catchphrase. He was originally paid $50,000 per episode but then after the success of the show he is now getting paid $3 million per episode which means he is earning around $40 million for each season. Donald Trump also owns the Miss Universe Organization alongside with NBC.

In 1977 Trump married Ivana Zelnickova whom he had 3 children with. Which were Donald, Jr., Ivanka and Eric.

He then divorced her in 1992 and then in the following year he married Marla Maples and they had one child, Tiffany. He then Divorced her in 1999. And finally in 2005 he married Melania Knauss who was 24 years younger than him. He later had a boy with her called Barron William Trump.

Conclusively I think Donald Trump has been very successful in terms of business and he possesses many Important Character traits of an Entrepreneur such as, Resilience which was shown by him never giving up even though he went bankrupt several times. He also had great determination and a goal and with that it brought him far in life. And he was ready to take on risks and was prepared for any consequences which would follow them. But he certainly possessed many characteristics of an Entrepreneur. He might not be one of the most successful people in the world but so far he has gotten very far in life and achieved many great things.
