He had three different names in his life: Johnny Allen Hendrix, James Marshall Hendrix, Jimi Hendrix.
His nickname was Buster
He had many siblings. Seven I do believe.
His father had an extra finger
Ironically in ninth grade he failed music class
His first guitar was an acoustic with only one string
He died from a drug overdose
He acted like he was gay to get out of the army
He headlined at Woodstock
He grew up with a hard life moving back and fourth from parents houses, to relatives houses, and to boarding houses.
