The Great Alfred Hitchcock

The Great Alfred Hitchcock

Alfred Hitchcock – Master of suspense was born 13th August 1899 and died 29th April 1980.

Alfred Hitchcock thrilled movie audiences the world over, that had them sitting on the edge of their seats, with a list of suspense films which he directed with a unique style that has not been matched to this very day.

His first film was The Pleasure Garden – 1925.

His last film was Family Plot – 1976.

Among his best creations was -

The Man Who Knew Too Much – 1934 and 1956.

The 39 Steps – 1935. The Novel by John Buchan was part of my High School English studies.

Psycho -  1960. With the unforgettable Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins. This was one I found hard to watch.

The Trouble With Harry -1955.

An adorable tale of mystery and romance. I really loved this one!

And who could forget the The Birds?

The Birds – 1963.

This is one of my favourites. So much so that I decided to write this article and

end it with a twist.

I love birds and sometimes have as many as 30-50 wild birds that I feed daily.

Here are some pictures of my version of  ‘The Birds’.

And I wonder what Alfred would think of it?

I’m sure he would probably chuckle and say – “Amateur!”

Thank You my friends for your wonderful comments. It’s not always easy to write. If I have a flaw with writing, it’s this – I try to stay away from the norms and main stream style of writing ( which is probably my downfall and explains the lack of the Doe Ray Me (money) that goes into my little kitty(wallet). Not to worry – I will keep writing the way my heart and soul directs me.
Love you all.
