The Life of Michael Jackson
My own take on the meteoric rise and death of Michael. A few thoughts on the devastating effects of stress.
Michael J Jackson, born on August 29 th, 1958. He exploded into the limelight at a very tender age. He was deprived of the innoncent and non judgemental fun of childhood. Nonetheless he became a masterful dancer, an intuitional composer ,who was forced into massive entertainment responsibilities. He loved and lived the life of a magnificent performer. He thrilled the world with extremely fast hand and foot movements, but a huge gap was created by the missing adventures of childhood.
Michael became world known, copied and followed, but was smacked down by an unprivate life, and overexposed popularity. The chemical reactions from stress and certain medications have wreaked havoc on this once young man’s body, way into his adulthood. He did not experiment enough with the power of forgiveness. The power that releases the forgiver and the forgiven. An opportunity to look at life through new eyes, visions, inspirations and allow spiritual or God consiousness to permeate his mind, body and soul.
Michael’s death is a wake up call. The ego can drive one up to the highest level of achievements, but can leave in its wake massive destruction. How far , or what method should a parent use to bring about success? Can one become a superstar and allow millions to experience the pleasures of life without being destroyed in the process? Looking back through history, seems like most great ones die young, before relishing the just heights of their accomplishments . To name a few Elvis Pressely, Jimi Hendrix, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding,Ricky Nelson and many others. I wonder were these lives short , or the work they came to do was completed?
I do not know the answer. I know that Michael’s legacy will live on forever. Peace to a wonderful young soul.
