1. The Jackson 5 : In fact it was Michael Jackson’s only pleasure during his childhood. His dad was the sort of torturer we see in the movies. Well he had a big nose, but one wouldn’t expect a father to keep on teasing a twelve year old. Anyway his participation in the Jackson 5 band was the beginning of an era, atleast for the pop music.

2. Thriller era : The 1980s saw one of MJ’s finest piece – Thriller. It topped the charts for decades and it had sold millions of copies worldwide. This was the time when the celebrity Michal became a Living Legend. This was when the entire globe fixed their eyes on this special singer.

3. Moonwalk : The most sort after dance move first performed by the most sort after artist. That’s still one of the many moves introduced by MJ. It is the trademark move of the pop king.

4. 1990’s Dangerous and Super Bowl XXVII : ckson renewed his contract with Sony for $65 million; a record breaking deal at the time. Money was flowing in, fans were flowing in. However he found it hard to control his own life. The face change, colour change, etc. were the sort of things he wanted to achieve at that time. Was he unaware that it would cost him his life ?

5. Planned return to live performance : After all the legal cases were settled, accusations properly dealt with, he decided to return to live performances. In 2009, he had planned stage shows in numerous countries as an attempt to lighten his life. But the King was to fall.
